Our Programmes
Bachelor's Degree
A professional college-level programme designed to target those who are in, or about to enter, the workforce in corporate, government or technology fields.
NCTVET
Education provided for adults after they have left the formal education system, consisting typically of short or part-time courses.
Associate Degree
The pre-university courses are intermediate courses and can be considered as degree bridge courses to prepare students for university education.
Continuing Education
College programmes that comprise the core, required and elective courses that lead to the award of a
degree or certificate.
Trench Town Polytechnic is an Associate member of the Council of Community Colleges of Jamaica (CCCJ). At Trench Town Polytechnic College, our aim is to eliminate academic failure/frustration; minimize disciplinary referrals and develop your potentials to the fullest. We do this by making teaching and learning our core business, in a compassionate environment where you will be treated with respect and love.
What is a Polytechnic College?
A Polytechnic College is a tertiary institution offering instruction in a variety of demand driven vocational, technical, and professional programmes. It specializes in education and training for the real world by merging technological knowledge with the practical needs of the society.
A Polytechnic College is the apex of Technical Vocational Education and Training and offers a unique combination of Programmes – hands-on, project and team-based learning. It involves knowledge in action and will also develop and administer bespoke courses to meet the needs of the workforce. Trench Town Polytechnic is an Associate member of the Council of Community Colleges of Jamaica (CCCJ).
